Okay. So recently I've been upgrading my computer piece by piece, and now I've come to the case situation.
I know it's not necessary to get one, but I figured that a nice cheap one would be a cool change from the stock white boring case it has now.
But my dilemma is that I don't know which to choose and figured some peoples input would be cool:
1. NZXT M59 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146058)
2. XCLIO Color I (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811103038)
3. Broadway Com Corp FX-Series (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811162057)
I think there were a few more, but I couldn't find them on my search back through.
Feel free to recommend different ones, just remember that I'm trying to stick to about 50$ max.

the first one

my vote goes to the xclio case. looks nice and clean.
-
Added a poll (figured more people will vote then post)
and thanks guys, I'll probably make my final decision around Christmas.

i would go with NZXT i trust there build quality over the other two ive never hurd of the other two. you might look for a Lian Li they have amazing build quality. with computer cases your going to get what you pay for. the cheaper the case the cheaper the build quality flimsy steel with paint that chips easy instead of aluminum that has been anodized.

i would replace front fan with this. i love it so much. its loud at first but i got use to it fast. but i also have it as a side fan and it makes more noise by teh side vent grill. but if i had teh money id replace my other 3 120mm fans with it

@Tec, thanks for the input (I was hoping someone with experience would post)
@Bud, A lil off topic thar, but since this computer is only a low-spec gaming PC, I don't really have to worry about it heating up, but thanks for the fan recommendation

lol im glad you think highly of my opinion. when it all comes down to it, it has to be something that makes you happy its going to sit in you room/office/living room and your going to have to look at it day after day. the most important thing is that it make you smile and make you say "damn i have a cool looking computer"
im also sure this wont be the last computer you build so use it as a learning experience you'll get a case and find things you like and things you don't like and it will all be things to look for in your next case
so enjoy and post more questions if you have them!
-
also another think(i like) is that its painted inside the case. am kinda disapointed i never got around to spray painting the inside of case black

Thats kinda what I was basing this whole project off of (and ofcourse the "I need a computer to last")

I agree with that, because I think it will take some of the glow off the fans and keep it to a nice calm internal glow instead of everything reflecting off the shiny aluminum

Next Question:
What HDD manufacturers do y'all like/suggest, or does it not really matter?
-
people get fanboyish about what HDD's they use. i would go with a name brand like seagate or western digital. ive used bolth with no issue and were talking close to a year of run time with no failures. ive also used maxtor with no issue but ive had issues a no name SSD ive used.
so namebrand good no name bad.
-
western digital seems good because i dropped mine 10ft off a shelf and still works :D
-
western digitals do sequel sometimes. mine does. no fail;ures. however i have random bsod just restart and its fine not sure if its the hdd tho...
-
WD is basically one of the best HDD manufacturers out there.
Out of your choices, I'd go NZXT; they're good quality.
Better yet...go CoolerMaster HAF X ;) That's what I've got and it kicks major ass.

My friends dad used one for their newest build, and I agree that it's a monster case...I just dont have 200$ to drop on one (and if I did, I'd go with a Lanboy)
-
I knew I wasn't the only one who would go with a Lanboy! lol
