We're going in together on a new propane grill, a food processor, and a Wii. That should leave us each with about $500, so I'm going to get a hot air/soldering rework station, a benchtop power supply, and a new router. That should leave me about $200 to buy some new clothes, shoes, and some other random stuff... I'll post some pics as I get stuff, if this thread is still active.

I'm also getting a bunch of second hand stuff from friends. My sister's boyfriend is giving me his old 61" 720p DLP, his old PS2 and games, and his old Dreamcast and games. My wides co workers are giving me a DS, PS2, and 2 360s (all of which are broken).

So needless to say this is the best Christmas I've had in about a decade... Lol

Post by: budgray19 on December 26, 2010, 01:26:37 AM: lol mosin isnt a straight pull bolt action. nore kar but nice try kinda in the area. this is a swiss k-31. theres vids of guys hitting a 8 in target at 1050 yards. one guys best was like 3 or 4 out of 6 with open sighs. interesting thing with these k31s is that if u take off the butt plate more than likely youll find the soldiers tag. the tag consists of their name, birth, address, and what they did. also on the other side is their ssn. ill post a pic tomorrow when im cleaning rifle from a days shooting. also the swiss k31 is one of teh most accurate rifles of WWII. the design dates back to around the 1880's-90's

Also having a job that pays well and having low living expenses helps (like not paying rent cause you live with your parents or not spending all your money on booze and partying, also being smart with your money when you're young an not racking up thousands of $ in debt. Or maybe some people have a ton of credit cards and tens of thousands in debt...)... Other than that idk cause I can hardly ever afford to spend my money on anything but bills...

Post by: jrfhoutx on December 30, 2010, 11:41:01 AM: Well just to clarify all the $ I got for Christmas is split between my wife and I and comes from both my parents and hers as well as her grandmother and mine. So split $1500 in half is $750 divided by 4 is $188 from each of them. So it's not that I got a ton of money from one person, but a little from each (it adds up and having in-laws helps ;) )

Oh and I didn't get anything else from any orgies people just the $ so all in all it's really not that much it just adds up...
