Title: PSP 2000 in 3000 housing problem

But I have one problem though, if i screw screw in the bottom (near PSP logo)(it's marked with red circle in image, but it's hard to see :D)

i get this rainbow like circle on the screen (housing's clear plastic touches screen too hard, I guess)

and what i want is some suggestions for what should I do to solve this problem, like what to cut inside or something.
P.S. If anyone needs to know what I cut already just say it I will post some pictures.

Post by: Famas on January 01, 2011, 09:42:08 AM: it looks like its sqeezing the lcd screen and causing the presure to make a rainbow colour id suggest trail and error of grinding the little screw down to it fits to your needs hope this helps

Post by: lucario94 on January 01, 2011, 10:18:02 AM: I know but I saw other thread here "simple mod 2000/3000 hybrid" if I recall correctly, saw pictures and i see that it is screwed up perfectly, so I too want to make it perfect too. Too bad user that already did this is not active anymore.

Post by: lucario94 on January 01, 2011, 10:44:02 AM: Screws are the same size but screw isn't a problem here because if I press PSP logo it makes the same thing on the screen. Now I think that black rubber around the lcd could be the problem, cause I removed it.

Ok, that's it I've put rubber around lcd again and da da problem solved, thanks for help those that tried to help :)
