Title: Melted Sync button Replaceable?

So i sold 2 rapid fire controllers on craigslist for $100 and a halo reach controller and when i opened the reach controller up at home he had melted the sync button from a fail install of intensafire and i wanted to know if anyone knows if i can just replace it? it is just a tact switch right? and i have an extra board for parts but if anything ill just put a new board in the halo reach shell

it is just a tact switch, replace it. use a solder sucker or braid to remove the solder. make sure not to tear the pads.

The best way to get a sync button off is floating it. Then clean the solder points with desolder braid and replace it with a new sync button.
