Title: xbox 360 is acting crazy?

i have the xbox and when i turn it on it turn back off instantly.
on the power brick it is orange and then when i turn it on it goes green and then turn orange really fast.
the power brick works but i think its the xbox.
and idea whats the problem

is the front power button stuck or shotring out causing the button to press again

does the power brick turn orange after or before the xbox turns off

its ever a short on what you just done to the xbox or you power bricks dieing or playing up.

Are there times when you can't turn it off/on with the button?

There are two possible combinations of problems:

- Faulty power switch on the front panel
- Faulty power supply enable/disable cable.(see below)

Check the connector between the power brick and the console.
make sure that the cable is plugged all they way in
try to wiggle the cable in different positions to see if you will get a different result.
