Title: PSP sio /RS232/homebrew coders needed.
Post by: 1TONpete on January 20, 2011, 10:03:47 PM
I'm trying to find code that can be used for a touch screen interface for the psp.
I'm thinking IRshell and homebrew for now. Have knocked around the idea of using something similar to cw.cheat for mapping and macros. ie:in game touch features. We want to program a attiny84 to read and output commands through the psp's sio connection.
If you have anyway you can help , It would be great. this device could really revive the psp. Code is needed for both reading the touch and out putting it to the psp. But you home brewers could get involved too. Home brew is where the touch fun begins.

We had someone helping with the programing end of this project but they are not working out. Lots of empty promises. We need to create a plugin that receives x,y touch position and turns that into an interface. I've been away from the project for a while , (lack of help and support) but I would be happy to get back to it if I can get someone to help with the plugin/ programing.
Specifically we need a programmer. LOL. But seriously though. If you are interested in helping Pm me and I'll give you details on what we got so far and where we are heading with this. If you look into  the psp forum there is a topic on the psp touch dev. There is a lot of info on there.
