Anyone thought about this? Creating a plugin that allows users to program voice commands to their psp's . Think of the possibilities. This can't be that hard. They've used this tech on phones for years. Even Ford has it.
I really should remember to google b4 i start a thread.
Anyone tried this? Any further dev?

is this just text to speech?

I dont know what that is ,but if it is text to speech it cant be hard to modify to work for other stuff.

I thought of this while working on our other project , I would like to include this with our stuff but i figured Id start another thread. I think we had enough going on w psptouch.
I started thinking about the mod scene and the psp and I think its time for a change. I keep seeing the same mods just people put new twists on them. Most of the mods are just for looks and dont improve the device much. I like mods to bring something new and usefull to the device. LEDs dont add function. Having an extra speaker can be cool but it doesnt add much to the psp. Adding more memory is so simple now cr 5400 is so easy anyone can do it. Extra analog nub is cool if you play a lot of fps but thats all it really helps w. Now being able to control your psp in a whole new way, thats new and add function.

cyber pyrot did it a few years ago. he made a voice activated 360 controller. it worked but had a delay.

the best possible solution is reverse engineering what they already have and size everything down to surface mount. They give you all of the schematics and layouts for everything.

Wow see i figured it was possible I seen a press release about some new game that you had to talk to your psp that works w the new cam.
I like where he was going with that. I am disabled. I was almost killed by a drunk driver. I got started back into modding because of idle time. I like projects. More importantly I have kids and one of the kids my kids plays with has no hands. Birth defect. I've seen this kid do amazing things with his arms, just trying to play like other kids. Something as simple as swinging a baseball bat becomes a challenge. But he does it.
I'd be useless without my hands. There are times when all the kids are stuck inside and playing video games and "Caiden" (not sure on spelling) can't play with the other kids and I can see this really effects him. He trys to get the other kids to do something else but they wont because they are in "game mode". To be able to let him play video games would be awesome.
I would never want my son to feel left out because he's different.
