No, you are not seeing things, this is indeed Sony's PSP2 or NGP to give it it's official name. This thing has amazing Spec, to be honest it out classes my laptop, including quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU and a quad-core Imagination Technologies PowerVR SGX543MP4+ GPU, Capacitive multi-touch pad on the BACK, 5-inch OLED touchsreen on the front with 960 x 544 resolution , front and rear cmera, Built-in microphone, stereo speakers, Six-Axis motion sensing, the axis compass and GPS.

I'll give you a minute to change your underwear.

It Has your normal controls, PS button, power, Up down let right, Triangle circle cross square, Left stick, Right stick, Bumpers, start select and volume.

AND Wi-Fi, Mobile network connectivity (3G), IEEE 802.11b/g/n Infrastructure mode/Ad-hoc mode and Bluetooth® 2.1.

Also it has the ability to have android gaming via the new playstation suite.

No Price at the moment. we have to wait at least a year for this new PSP

I'm glad they went back to more of the form factor of the orignal, The Go was such a fail!! I think my warranty card won't last very long though xD

I am glad about that as well, but I have a couple things to criticize, my friend showed me this
this morning, and i thought it was one of those psp knockoffs XD the more i look at it, it's starting too look better, but I definitely don't like the start and select buttons, or the speaker holes.

i think the sticks should be a few mm closer to the screen as they look almost like they will get in the way where they are a bit

yes... lets put the speakers BEHIND your thumbs while you play, it will help you hear better, we all have ears on our thumbs...

They need to take more hints from modders... LOUDER PSP PLOX!

EDIT:
At least it looks like the faceplate would be easy to replace, touchscreen though... looks as if it is one piece so must have conductor coated on back of the screen portion. im interested to see how well this is designed. I'm thinking that we will have little room for 30awg wires.

I would say to all psp modders to sell there psps now because when this is on the market the psp original will be really Cheap

Gosh.... just think of its potential, especially when it is hacked of course....

Hopefully Sony has a rerun of what happened with the original playstation portable series!
