I can buy a New console at that Price. But I will reconsider it, because I am broke which means I have to work at my dads for $2.5 Hour

Post by: hyper999 on February 06, 2011, 02:43:23 PM: there is always going to be hot air coming out, that is the point of the EXHAUST fan. if hot air is coming out the fan is doing its job, which is removing the hot air from the heatsink and blowing it out whilst sucking cooler air into the heatsink to cool it. you should start worrying when you can feel cool air coming out.

I was talking about the Xcm Wing Fan which is 69Pounds. The other fan Is a waste because I found a better cheap looking one.

bargain you put it over the chips that need cooling and can cool it down 3 degrees less than the normal fans goes in the back of the dvd drive

I would not open a slim if it was mine. but if you do make a teardown tutorial. According to MS you dont have to worry about the RROD with a slim as it uses a single processor for both the gpu and gpu, as apposed to the normal xbox.

lol just confirmed that fan is for the fat xbox....fail

so as u can see there is no way in hell that fan would fit in there, and chances are you wouldnt need a extra fan in there, as matt siad it is one processor that gets even cooling, and as hper said hot air coming out means the fan is working properly,

m$ designed the slim a bit better and as far as i know none of them have over heated yet. no rrod no major common issues. so why worry bout adding extra cooling when it is not needed.
