hey guys long time no see been busy just a quick question i have the old white xbox 360 had it since the xbox came out just wondering i have the fan out and it has a black and red wire going to one fan and a brown and blue going to the other fan i just wanna no what voltage is getting supplied to each fan and would it be ok to connect leds to them without slowing the fans down so a breakdown i want to no 1 what voltage is supplied and 2 if i can connect leds ?

it changes with temperature (xbox gets hot voltage goes up) but it will always be somewhere between 5 and 12 volts.
if youre not trying to make the leds to reflect the fan speed the best place to power them from is under the power jack.

if your talking about like the whisper max fans i think you should just buy it. its good i have the blue fans. also if you want to put leds facing the fans like the whisper max your going to have to use a drill and leds and resisters
