add resistors and I think you'd be good

Whats the voltage requirements on the leds? I bought some badass 5mm leds that are 12v. They are incredibly bright.

i have one abit like this but not compact and dont use resistors. ill keep telling my dad to bring the multimeter up as i cannot do much with out it.

well pcb wizard says 5mm

here is a awesome article you would love. as usual i suggest you putthem in parrallel-series. and always add a resistor :)

thx for the link
would be nice with a resistor but why if theirs none on my other one?
-
well its advised to use a resistor. so the led wont burn out as quickly. but hope the led website helps out :)

yea when im wiring in parallel to 5mm leds im guessing white i use anything from 100 ohm resistors to 330 if you want them the brightest possible i use 100 or 150 ohm but for safety i use 330 and on the pcb make sure instead of the wire coming off you have to square terminal connections then you can just use a pcb drill and youll be good to go best of luck for my office lamp i used about 6 white leds and it was great
and im guessing youll be using 12v dc
admin mm- this is not entierly correct.

ok, I doont know how to keep stressing this until everyone gets it. resistors are not guessng games, and if you want a brighter led, buy the correct one, dont over power it. there is a reason it is called ohms LAW and not ohms maybe....
you need to use the correct resistor forthe correct condition.
@gerald, that site is a great read, I recomend everyone reading this has a look at it
@wite top, I wuld assume there is a transformer of some sort on the power supply limiting current somewhere.

my other plugs right into my pc's usb ive looked on ones abit like mine and they use a 100k resistor but ill read that link just dont get how i made the last lamp and forgot how i did it lol
