I looks like Apple has confirmed that they will be announcing the new Ipad on march 2nd. There are a ton of rumors surrounding this ipad, right down to whether this is going be the Ipad 2, or if it is going to be just a major change to the current model.
Here are some of the rumors:
An ipad 2 with a 2GHz processor and front facing camera
A smaller 7inch display ipad to compete in the handheld market with the 3ds/ngp
An even smaller 5.6inch display; the smaller iPads would target ebooks
There are even rumors of a 3D display ipad, but i am very doubtful of that. Either way whether you like or hate the "I" family of products you might want to book march 2nd off. If you like it you could probably stay home and find a live stream of the announcement and drool. I however am calling in sick that day so i can sleep through the announcement and ignore life for a while before i have to go to work and hear all about it!

I edited the spelling... the grammar isn't all that bad, and punctuation isn't always that important either (most people don't use punctuation properly anyway, myself included), more than anything the news articles need to have correct spelling (most people wouldn't know proper grammar if it smacked them in the face) as well as correct information. Simple spelling mistakes can lead to a great deal of confusion.

my biggest problem is not bad spelling but rather the wrong spelling =) like using weather instead of whether

though, in regards to the article itself, I don't see them changing form factors any time soon... SJ seemed pretty adamant about the size of the screen when samsung took a shot at apple about screen size... I doubt most of that stuff except the new processor and camera. those would keep in line with apples current model progressions and not really add too much cost to the unit (if any at all) making it possible for them to keep the pricing the same... so pretty much I'd say that if anything is true, it'll get a faster processor and a front and rear camera... maybe it'll see a real USB port or two and/or an SD card slot... other than that I wouldn't expect much to change on the hardware side of things.

that would be nice... I hate waiting half an hour for my iphone to restore, or twice as much time to transfer a track as it would take to listen to the track. how does that work? a 3 minute track takes 4.5 mins to transfer even on USB2.0? though even more so, I hate having to go back through and put all my music back on it because backups don't save a list of the music that was on the phone. who's the genius that decided that was an unnecessary feature? "lets constantly push updates to the user, but lets not save the music that's on there to make it easier for them to get all the same files back on the phone, let's just erase it all and let them worry about getting it all back on there"... apple may make some really cool devices but it seems like they overlook small details that really shouldn't be overlooked...
