Title: PSP 1000 with lcd or backlight problem?? Really I dont know

Sup guys!!

I have bought a cheap psp to mod it but it have a problem. When the PSP is on a few minutes, lcd turn on and off fastly.

I have changed the lcd and bridged the backlight fuse but it happen the same. Here is a vid:

Is there anyone who has had the same problem??

The pins on the connectors of the backlight or lcd might be dirty so check them and also try cleaning them with an air can

I thought this could be one of the reasons so i have ordered a lcd socket in focalprice to replace it. I am waiting it

in the pic it looks like theres something realy pushing on the back of the screen. So whatevers pushing there could be the problem.

Did that to me (low brite, med brite, hi brite, off - in fast succession), new home bar solved it. There was soda shorting out the brightness key.

Thanks guys for the replies  :tup: I´m going to try without the faceplate and without the home bar, if the problem persist I think It could be the LCD connector (I am waiting it yet)

Like DuctTapedGoat said I think its a problem with the home bar because I disconnected it and connected it again and now dont fail but the screen doesn´t turn off now lol only when i turn off the psp. I will change the home bar and i´ll test it
