Title: Good Graphic Card.
Post by: techninjadude on February 27, 2011, 07:58:49 AM
I have a Custom built pc that I built when I was 12 (2 years ago).
My dad one day storms into my bedroom coz I swore at him and his family and. pull my monitor from the port with force, leaving my gaming graphics card, shorted, and dead, he said that he will get a new one for £100, then when I showed him the one I wanted, he refused to buy it when I said, I need it for media and Gaming, because he doesn't want me playing games, I am banned for until Summer holiday ( WHAT THE HELL ). I went Best buy to see the over priced Graphic Cards, today then he lied at me and Said, I have a budget of £50, OMG WT*. I really don't understand, the point is, that I will need money, now to buy my Decent GPU. Do you recommend any good GPU's. Does anyone know what I should about my DAD, and get my money.

I need one with:
DX11
Crossfire
1gb
256bit memory interface
800MHZ+ Engine clock Speed
4000MHZ Memory Clock Speed
With Hdmil+ DVI
-----------------------What do you Recommend----------------------
Here is what I am thinking of :

Any Radeon HD5000 series, top-ed HD4000 series or low-end HD6000 series is a good choice.

I currently use a HD5670 which was £100 when I bought it, you can probably get a better one of the HD6000s for the same prive.

Is your budget £50 or £100?

nVidia ftw. A GeForce GT 240 is the cheapest good-running gpu you can get.

i'm sorry, but i really doubt that you can run crysis with decent settings on a 3850.

you can get a 5770 for about $120 on newegg, thats the route i'd take. save up if you have to.

I agree with jacob, anything that card and above is a good choice. And ennon, there isn't even any point at looking at nVidia cards in this price range.

Ok you won lol.
But I am not really know because when I bought it the guy said they run out of stock, so he I think gave me a really good one, but
I mean my rig cost 470 pounds and it can run crysis ultra high, it lags very rarely only when there is alot going on but, its smooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth

I've got a 6870 and a 5770, both XFX. I recommend either one of them, they're both rock solid performers.
