Title: ben heck who??
Post by: Modded Matt on March 02, 2011, 10:56:29 AM: we each set out to build a controller for a disabled gamer. although mine took longer due to a series of events in my personal life. I think the pics will speak for themselves. ben charged $400.00 for his controller, I charged $65.00 which is a reimbursment of my cost for purchasing a controller and parts.

I did not like the tape on my usb to 3.5mm adapters so I ordered some shrink wrap tubing that will fit and dress them up nicely.it should go in the mail after this weekend....he dosnt know my controller is coming so it will be a suprise to him. it was the admin at ablegamers.com who contacted me and requested the worrk.

But to be honest matt I think its so cool what you've done for this kid, I have so much respect for you. Things like this make me want to show so much remorse for the people out there that are disadvantaged in life. Good for you Matt, you're a great man.

Not really a hacking genius... in fact i dont think ive ever heard of him hacking anything, you could argue he is a modding genius however his mods aren't really genius but he is lucky and has a lot of money, time and equipment he can use (such as a CNC router) that most modders do not have access to...

not trying to say he is a bad modder, his portable mods are pretty damn good and profesional looking but other people have done alot of similar (maybe even better) but just aren't as famous as him, and as proven by this work some of his other work is shoddy and greatly overpriced.
