Title: Photoshop on your Android & iPad Tablets?!

(https://acidmods.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1223.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fdd513%2FAMBlogsMediaTeam%2FAcidModsStuff%2FPhotoshop-Express-logo.jpg&hash=e26d30c83aef2e2e0dcd3af195f42aa6f451d824)  The Photoshop Express (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Photoshop_Express) application that has been displayed on mobile phones as well as tablets is in short a stripped down version of Photoshop (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photoshop)… Put mildly, and in short it doesn’t hold a candle to the full power and capability of genuine Photoshop (http://www.photoshop.com/). Could it be that a light has been seen at the end of the tunnel? At the Photoshop World Conference (http://photoshopworld.com/) the leader of Adobe’s Photoshop and other Creative Suite programs, John Loiacono displayed what the company could have in store for users in the future.

On March 30th, 2011 a demonstration of an application similar to Photoshop was shown working on the iPad. Understand that no expectations of a release or shipping date were even hinted at during the demonstration, and the tools that were shown were things such as layering which were first available in version 3.0 which was released back in 1994, but it is a giant step for the program to taking editing on tablets seriously.

As of now, it has been made clear that a serious photo editing application with the power of Photoshop is impossible, given the limitations on processing power, ram and memory on currently produced tablets, it is great to know that Adobe is at least looking into bringing users a part of their impressive photo manipulation program to there mobile devices, even if it is just technology they are "looking into"

I'd rather see better , more powerful tablets that can handle real apps.
