Title: Will this make my console more unstable?

So i was curious today, and decided to take apart my xbox. So far, i only took off the case, so the metal box is still screwed togethor. im just wondering if it will damage my console when i play with it opened up, cause im too lazy too put it back togethor.

no it wont play any different... lol it only takes like 2 minutes to put the case back on. I bet you broke something and dont want to admit it lol

I have one that I leave open to test new mods on, I run it all the time and never put the case back together... don't worry about it, if anything it'll be better for your box, it'll stay cooler being open, more heat can escape more easily... though you will have to clean it a little more often, though that will be easier since it's already open...

it was a big pain to get it open tho, i thought the plastic was going to snap when i was prying it open. Also... What are these "new mods"?

LOL i did the same thing. too lazy to put the case back on because of a dual CPU heatsink mod and there was no more room for the disk drive. its still layin on my shelf.

we're working on it, should be coming in the next few months... a few controller mods and maybe one or two console mods... they're kinda cool, nothing special though really...

I wouldnt run it without the fan shroud.

what do you mean metal box is still screwed together? not sure thats possible.
