any tools? cause I've got like $5k worth right behind me...

Most expensive? Ingersol Rand 1/2" Titanium Impact gun

Most useful? either my 2lb. deadblow hammer or my 24" prybar...

Most used in modding? Aoyue 899A+, X-Acto knife, wire cutters, tweezers with magnifier or Helping Hands...

Most simple? 6" piece of solder doubled up to 3" and twisted to make a flux applicator...

Most ghetto rigged? Solar eclipse viewer from a telescope turned camera stand or IKEA Forsa lamp turned Hot air rework gun holder...

Most beloved? my hands... it would be a sad day indeed if I didn't have those...

Pics later I don't feel like messing with it right now...

Most simple - set of small files maybe?

I dunno I have way too many tools, I got modding tools, electronics tools, programming tools, bike tools, car tools, carpentry tools, general purpose tools, metal working tools, clock/watch tools...

i come from a long line of craftsmen/tradesmen and tinkerers, only exceptions are my brother and my parents :P

Most expensive would be my computer. Which with out that I'd probably be lost.
Most useful would be this thing. It used to have alligator clips and a magnifying glass but I can't seem to find them. But I have a swing arm light w a magnifying glass.
Its like have 2 extra hands. I got it to tie fly's years ago.

Most useful to mod with ... Dremel or soldering iron.
most simple and always needed, a lil tiny flat head screwdriver.
My favorite tool to use is my dremel. I always feel comfortable using it.
most wanted tools : vinyl cutter . cnc machine . mig/tig welder.

I love my 'helping hand' or whatever you wanna call it... I use it on nearly ever mod I do, though mine has a magnifying glass on it, which sometimes comes in handy when soldering SOICs and other small circuits and chips...

most wanted tools : vinyl cutter . cnc machine . mig/tig welder.

^This, definitely... I could live without the mig/tig welder right now since I can't afford any custom/resto work anyway (unemployment will kill your cash reserves lol), but a vinyl cutter and CNC mill/router would be freakin awesome... and even help eventually pay for that mig/tig welder and custom/resto work lol

If you don't have 'helping hands' like what jr and rodent use, just ghetto rig some 14 gauge romex and some alligator clips on the wire and c-clamp it to your table. works every time.

haha, I do something similar for an extra holder when my 'helping hands' rig is tied up with stuff; I take a pair of pliers, wrap a rubber band around the handle to keep them pulled closed, then I force them open just enough to slip the base of an alligator clip into the jaws of the pliers... like this:

Could of used Vice grips...LOL  I am sure you have a pair of them laying around , yet thats a good idea when the helping hands sometimes get in the way

lol yeah I have plenty of vise-grips, just don't feel like trying to find the key to my toolbox lol, I just had some pliers and a rubber band laying on my work table the other day when I needed an extra 'helping hand' so I threw this together, thought I'd share it as not everyone will have vice-grips but I'm sure everyone has a pair of pliers and a rubber band laying around...
