Post by: zephyr1220 on April 11, 2011, 08:57:40 PM
Can anyone tell me if this can be done:

I'm with neo - what?

Are you talking about mounting the second stick to the board for solidity, or what?

No he's asking if you can hardwire the analog stick directly to the motherboard.

Yes you can hardwire it. can you set the analog directly on the motherboard and solder the two together, sure but the analog won't be at the right height and you would seriously risk ripping up some pads because the analog wouldn't be screwed into the faceplate. the system was designed the way it was for a reason. I recommend you actually take the time and brain power and actually properly trouble shoot the issues you are having with the analog and then fix it from there. don't just hardwire it.

I is probably the thing were the nub moves by it self, it is because the psp faceplate is not screwed properly

Yes it moves downward on its self...
Saw the problem some excessive plastic is hindering the faceplate to shut tight it needs some sanding,
A little elbow grease should do it...
I hope... :beg:
