Title: Sony unveils 2 PlayStation certified Tablets
Post by: Crumbz on April 30, 2011, 09:45:03 AM
That's right! Sony will be releasing 2 new PlayStation Tablets to the market.

At a recent briefing Sony unvelied 2 new tablets which it seems might be a fight against the Apple IPad.

The first one (above) also known as the S1, is a Tegra powered device boasting a 9 inch touch screen, and is the worlds first tablet device to carry the "PlayStation Certified" lable. Meaning that "yes" you will be able to play PS1 Games and other Sony approved titles for mobile platforms.

And last but not least the second one (Above) also know as the S2. Is a clamshell tablet which looks very much like Acer's dual screen Iconia.
This one boasts 5.5 inches for both screens and has a 1024x480 display. With the upper screen for all the action and the lower screen with all the controls.

Both of which will be able to play all your beloved PlayStation games. Also will be compatible with Sony's online music services and E-Book store.

Both the S1 and the S2 will be running on Android 3.0, will be WiFi ready and will have 3G and 4G connectivity. And apparently you can also use them as a TV remote for your Bravia TV sets!

Both are set to come out on the market the fall of this year, but as of yet no price range has been given for the systems. But i believe it would be safe to surmise that the price will be high.

i'd guess the top one will be 899 and 799 for the bottom one.. that would keep them on par with the HP slate and the Ipad.  FYI thease are wifi + 3G estimates

That picture is wrong.

The posts are completely relevant to the topic because i want to know if the new PlayStation Tablets could be blended. The most innovative feature that the tablet has to defend against blending is it's size.

i was referring more to the e=mc2 comment (which is also under many other peoples names).

but who says the blender has to use the standard/stock cup size and motor? whats to stop you from modifying lets say a bucket to allow for larger items? imagine a high powered super blender, devouring your local cattle and school children.

you could blend a car with enough effort.
