hey guys anyone use this program to program pic 12f683?
yes i am a noob but learn dam quick and from i understand
i need to read the pic
then erase it just for safe measure
then i load the hex file (the hex looks like this when i load it to write)
then i push program
is that right ?i already did it and it always says write successful
unless im missing a step i got the pic programmer from ebay
ps i know im connecting the pic right due to it wont function any other way and it seems to work fine reading and writing
why am i getting this error when i try to recomplie hypers asm file for his RF using windows 7 with mplab

did you try change the speeds in mplab? because in the second picture it says the building of the hex file failed so something is wrong there...

nope did not try to recomplie it well i did at first and tried to save it as a hex and it said build failed so i tried just saving your existing code and it says the same thing build failed

so did you just use the precompiled one in the end?

thats the same piece os crap software that came with mine... lol
i had the same problem once before and it was also different every time, just try putting the chip in the ZIF connector in different configurations until you finally know how its supposed to go. The diagram that came with mine was all Chinese and it lied to me of how the chip is put in. Play with it a bit and you might get it to work.

well i program the code but it doesnt work trying to get your input on it thats why i started this thread since im a bit a noobie with pic programming trying to figure out if it was my programmer or your code buddy doubt it is just wonder im getting error when i try to compile it from the .asm file you provided

lol crap software well i can only put the pic 12f683 on one certain part of the programmer if not itll gimmie an error
my brain hurts
ps are you still using this software or did u find another one?

i don't mean to cause offence but the problem is most likely to be your wiring, perhaps if we could see a picture we could help you get it working?

yeah i mean like i said i doubt its ur code because alot of ppl are saying it works fine thats why i think its my programmer and maybe its my wiring lol but i have installed a few kits in my day and all of them went fine without a hitch well im a get a new controller today and wire it up and if it doesnt work ill post some pics but F im stumped lol thanks hyper and everyone with any input
