lol wow, gotta love the good old government. They been trying to pass stuff like this for years and nothing ever went through, so im really not worried about it. And even if this does pass, people are just gonna keep doing it.

thats stupid. that bill will never pass.
So basically if someone in a video is wearing a copyrighted t-shirt its going to be considered a violation of this law?
-
I'm tried of them trying to pass all these stupid laws to stop piracy and music streaming its stupid people are just going to find another way to do it.
-

I already sent 2 messages to my State's senator through both of these sites:
http://action.afscme.org/c/51/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=1453
http://www.opencongress.org/
Hopefully the message gets through and they vote against the bill or at least amend it. Dynamically generated content/entertainment should be a non-violation of copyright etc etc.
Basically we have Hollywood and all those dumb mainstream music groups whispering to the senate saying "hey guys make this law pass to help prevent media theft etc." But none of them thought the bill out and understand what today's entertainment really is. IF this law gets put into action the way its worded now HALF of Youtube is going to need to get removed and that will hurt Google. Many other little businesses will go down, MLG will have to stop because that's how teams get sponsors--through gameplay commentaries/montages.
Right when the bill get put into action and see that half of the internet has to be taken down they will get a poo-storm of realize how bad they screwed up (which I predict will make piracy worse).
