Title: Xbox 360 red tiger controller[dropped out]
Post by: toadzilla on July 31, 2011, 06:04:58 PM: Red tiger Xbox 360 controller with see though where the red paint would be the abxy will have either bullets or are see though with
Red led shine thought or as a back light rapid fire. See though dpad with light shineing though or. Bullet with red back light red rol and red Back light on the rb and lb buttons with a red glow from the micport. I'll throw the stock picture on when i get home because I'm at a campsite tonight till tomorrow at noon

Looks like he cut all the slits then made a red resin filler or something close to it. Probably taped the underside of the slits and filled em in with the resin. Idk though lol thats my though.

I would just use a red transparent case and tape off the stripes painting the un-taped surface white then remove the tape and clear.... but thats just me.

lol yeah, thats what i would have done too dude. But this is what it looks like he did. I swear it looks like some type of filler.

Post by: Rodent on August 28, 2011, 07:03:28 PM: Your way would be alot easier matt, but denali(1TOnpete) is doing it with acrylic which is alot harder todo, but they are trying to come up with something new for other things and show different mod technics , which is kind of cool, controller is probably the hardest way to show it, but they proved it could be done. will be cool for some case mod ideas i have in mind later .

did you take a mold of the stock controller beforehand? and then pour the resin? no way you did that with tape

But no way would I have gotten these results. This is also , like Rodent said a proof of concept. Look for "HUGE!" things to come from this mod. The Tiger stripe or shredded controller design is simple but not to simple. It had its challenges , like around the analogs and making sure I did not cut where I was not supposed to.
See I can do a lot with acrylic and now that I know for sure I can mold it into a controller and have not just good but great results... It is on like kong. My Gears controller might not make it into competition this time around but look out fall for the gears 3 matching set controller and box. I might even do one for myself based off MW3 and "Ghost" theme. As a matter of fact I will do a MW3 "Ghost" themed one. Depends on if I come back to the box or not.

thanks rodent i've recieved alot of local attention also alot of people thinking im selling it for 15 bucks im like HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH im not selling this i've recieved three offers of like 20 bucsk for the shell and i was like uhh no if anything its going in to the 100's

yeah im thinking of pulling a bigger one for the fall and try to do it myself a whole set of controllers and a console and controller for xbox i haven't decided yet i've just been sitting here and thinking of what to do to step it up personally it was originally a concept i came up with 1TON one night on skype we came up with three different concepts as we talked though the night he reveled one the other day with the bullets inside the abxy so it kinda is see-though and another concept with is staying between me and him for now we seem to come up with alot of concepts with our talks on skype alot i may have another idea for this controller with i will start one it gets here to bring it up a step for myself and to make it truly a unique controller

The one piece of the "A" in Toad broke off . I put it back in the pour... Still need to sand and polish to get it to look like the front.
