Title: Xbox 360 Clear Console (Whoops) with LED Strips Halp me

I have bought one of this clear shell for xbox 360 on ebay from hong kong and I am trying to think of the best LED Strips for the job you can get SMD ones or the larger ones what ever they are called

Tell what you think is the best because there are thousands of led strips  :help:

Will upload some photos when I am done, but it will be a couple of weeks for it to arrive and I am on holiday in a bit.

Most LED strips are 12V, you might find some at 5V but you've only got 3V from the controller (I'm assuming wireless is there any other kind?!) Something like a few superflux or PLCC2 SMD LEDs will light up a controller like a christmas tree and cost you less than strip.

lol well i does say controller in the title :D check on ebay sunshine, i got this rgb strip with a wireless controller so i can pick any colour i feel like at that exact moment

RGB is probably your best option, but you've got a lot of choices with the strip. Since its a relatively small enclosure you won't need many per 5 or 10cm, probably 3 per 10cm would be about right. As for a controller for the RGB you can go for an off the shelf, a solderyourself kit or even an arduino. You could do very interesting things with an arduino and some sensors in an xbox! It's the more expensive option though!
