Are there any guides on how too hook up dip switches to LEDs? or a guide on how and where to solder them to the right places on the board? for psps 1000 2000 and 3000

Really? lol
Well if you look at some of the PSP tutorials in the tutorial section, you will see that power points for leds are shown for all versions. And wiring a dip switch is as simple as connecting the positive to one pin on the switch and another wire to the positive lead on the led.

I've checked the tuts and I see none with pics the explain how. I know how to wire LEDs just the dip switch has me in the "duh" state of mind. lol
-
how do you not get it?... :confused:
OK. think of it as a checkpoint between the psp and the led. when you solder the positive wire to the first pin you then solder a wire to the pin opposite the one you JUST soldered to. so when the switch is in the ON postition the power will flow from one end of the switch and out the other and to the led.
if that dosent explain things for you then idk how else you could be confused... you have to be more specific.

Like I get that but is there anything I need to solder on the board to the dip switch?

No you do not have to solder anything from the board other then the power used to run the lights

Ok cool I think I got it so grounding it to the psp is not necessary?
So Led-->Dip--->Speaker ?

No it does not require grounding. and yes that is the correct pattern for what you want yes.
