Title: Join the Acidmods Team!!!! Free Blogs
Post by: Modded Matt on September 19, 2011, 03:58:54 PM: Join the Acidmods team today! We are always recruiting new members for our teams. Join the Blogs and Media team today and get a free wordpress blog. ($36 value) You will also get a site badge recognizing your contribution to the site, and access to private areas of the site only available to the team and staff.

All you have to do is sign up and post one news story per week posted on the front page of Acidmods. Articles can be of anything in the technological field of choice. Something that fits into the site theme.

Please post here if you would like to join or if you have any questions. All members will be considered , new members, old members, young/old, boys or girls.

to clarify, there are blog categories and static pages.

blog pages work alot like a forum, you post topics and threads into categories to organize them, your posts are rotated in a descending order.

pages, are static html pages. you dont post articles you basically set it up and forget it. it is usually used as an "about me" page.

looking at my blog I have my blog categories and I have two pages, one is a MFH advert, the other is a sample page I never changed. Category items and pages can be set up to appear the same. but if you look at the bottom area of my blog it lists my pages separately.

The point to this thread is to get new members for the news team. which we are in desperate need of. Members of the news team get a blog and single page. We have a few themes to choose from, you can build your own and send it to me, or pick a basic theme and I can work with you to move things around and change the color scheme. there is a simple editor built into wordpress that will help you make minor changes yourself. My theme and the AM theme are custom built, I think JR's and robin's themes are stock that they customized.

regardless, blog or not, please think about joining the news team.

you have to come back atleast once, and write an article. articles are required at a minimum of weekly.
