Post by: Kool1zero on October 10, 2011, 06:24:56 PM
I have a LOT of free storage space on a drive i intended for the sole purpose of being an operating system respository.

i have pretty much all the main versions of windows.
SO! I am looking for suggestions for the best linux distros to start gathering.

ultimate lite 3.0
ultimate 2.9 (3.0 in the works)
ultimate 3.0 gamers edtion
oz unity

Think of ubuntu but with all the drivers and compiz already installed and better looking no unity either,
lite version is fantastic on netbooks or lower power pc with some nice eye candy
gamers edtion is like lite but has wine and emulators installed
rember if you download the 32bit version install the pae kernal if your running 4gb+ of ram
