Hey guys I'm try'n to wire rca jacks to my wired matrix controller. Can't get a good common ground to use for the dpad. I know where all the dpad grounds are and i got up & down working. I chose to use the ground from up ass a common ground for the whole dpad. when i try using L or R with the up ground they activate up or down. i then try'd using the L & R leads on the under side of the board but didn't do nothing when connecting them with my ground. does the up & down grounds only work with up & down? I used this link to find traces http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=512342
heres pics of my board:

Someone can correct me if I am wrong (I very well could be, others know more about this controller than I do) but I don't think you can use a common ground on the matrix controllers. The 'CG' controller is CG for Common Ground. The matrix controller has button signals matrixed together. Unfortunately, I think you would need to take the ground for each button separately.

Magic is right, you would probably be better off finding a CL wired or CG wireless controller
