Title: Need help with the ps3 BMU Rapidfire
Post by: 3lite117 on October 14, 2011, 03:32:04 PM
It seems Ive got it all together, but im having a problem changing the modes I know that the led shuts off when in the modes and gives a flash between them, but when I go to change modes I just simply dosent unless I put my finger between the com pin and earth pin on the pic and then press the tac button, also it will work of I put my finger on the Tp18 and then press the tac at the same time, Very strange Ive rewired all solder points used new wire on all connections and still the same problem... Has any one else had this? Im sure I must be doing somthing wrong.. but Its annoying me and I want to get it sorted  :boxed:
Ive done loads of 360 installs, but am noob to the ps3 hopefully some one can shed some light on the situation  :beg:

Seems to me that there is a problem with your connection between the PIC and the COM line

You have programmed your PIC wrong or wired it up wrong the code works fine on all current PS3 controllers.
