Hi i am trying to make a small pen drill i have used a motor from the old micro cars upgrade kits i have been trying to hook it u to a 9v battery but my problem is idk what volt the motor takes iv been looking it up on google for 3 days and cant find it out nether does it have a part number on it i thought it mite be 1.5 then i tried 3v both times i killed the motors now m on my last 2 and was wondering if anyone knows the exact volts i should give the motor.

well, with some model numbers and preferably a picture or two we might can help.
if you dont see model numbers or anything then we might can figure it out from pictures and an idea of where the motors are from

as soon as my camera battery is charged i can give personal pics but until then i have a link to a pic http://images.buyitsellit.com/237429.jpg if that's no help my battery should be charged in 3 hours or be good enough for a few pics

im using a 0.050 drill bit with this mod it has the power to drill through soft plastic and pcb but it keeps burning the motor after 30 seconds used on drilling or not
