To All Acidmods members:
You may have noticed decreased activity from the site admins as of late. That is because we have been rebuilding acidmods from the ground up to operate on the new SMF 2.0 forum system. This will provide additional security and usability to the forum. We have done alot of work to ensure the new site will look and function exactly the way our current site does. At first most people will only notice a very minor graphics changes, but in the close future you will start to see new features added to the site for our members to enjoy. Things such as new chat system, revised buddy system, better facebook integration, an ultimate profile system to allow myspace type profile modifications.
We trust you will enjoy this change, and hope you can be patient with us over this upcoming weekend during our scheduled update. There will not much if any loss of data, all your posts, messages, rep, etc will carry over. There may be a slight data loss of any post which is added to the forum during the day we update, and there is always the possibility of some down time during the transition But we dont expect any.
Please continue to enjoy the site, interact with the community and use the site resources as you normally would as you guys are what makes this site great. If you would like to see our progress and assist in any bug reports, feel free to visit our development site at www.aciddev.com/forum
Once the site update is complete we will immediately move forward with the annual acidmods winter mod off which I know most of you have been looking forward to.

OK so if you are reading this having just been able to get back onto the forum this is because i have just updated the forum software to the latest version and the new slightly tweaked version of the theme.
over the next few hours/days we will be adding back the modifications we use and testing and keeping an eye on hoe everything is working.
if you have any suggestions feel free to post them here.
p.s. once we have the forum software where we want it we will then if people want begin to create additional colours for members to use.
