Title: Remap start button when it is dead, macrofire plugin

Ok so my start button is dead, i can't use it, and i want to remap it to the sound button or the brightness button, but i can't use macrofire because you need to press the start button to confirm the remap. I don't understand how to add a remap manually because the readme is in gibberish text and i can't find a howto online. Please help me :(

EDIT: I've successfully manually remapped the note button to the start button and vice versa yet games still do not register the note press as start. I have tried the macrofire on 6.60 ME and 5.00 m33-6
