Title: Speaker mod help?! (PSP 2000)
Post by: 5620603221 on December 23, 2011, 01:23:06 PM
Im a noob, by the way. So i was doing direct contact sound reactive led mod, and busted my fuse apparently. So i bridged it, and my psp wont turn on. I unbridged it, now it works. I have no idea how to fix it. So now instead of fixing that I want to install another speaker or something in the back. I know how to install it and all, I just dont know where I should soldier the wires from the speaker, onto the motherboard. Again, my speaker contacts dont work anymore, so I need another contact point for the speaker. So where else can I connect my speaker to? Thanks in advance.

You didn't bridge the fuse if it didn't turn on. You bridged something else, or you bridge the fuse and another component causing a short.  Remove the fuse, and bridge the contacts.  There is no way for you to install another speaker if you can't get sound output.

Let me clarify, theres no sound from the speakers, but i am getting sound from the headphone jack. Im using this speaker, im planning on stripping it down to fit.
