Title: Xbox 360, help me throw some light on the subject
Post by: Luigus on January 25, 2012, 09:21:54 AM: OK firstly, I have made a topic about this before, like a year ago, but i kinda forgot about my box...

Soo, if any one could help me out, it'l be much appreciated!

OK so i was modding my Xbox 360, and the drive went dead, im pretty sure its the Drive PCB board, cuz i cant get the xbox to open and close the tray when i click eject on the console with everything plugged in...

Is it possible to retrieve a dvd through SATA connection if the drive is dead?

Since my xbox's dashboard makes it un JTaggable, is there anything else i can do?

Post by: snowcolt17 on January 25, 2012, 09:46:11 AM: you could actually indeed do a rgh on it. you can also get the dvd drive key from doing the rgh. maybe talk to rodent a little more about the rgh, he knows more about it then i do

Post by: Rodent on January 25, 2012, 10:28:46 AM: You can do a Reset glitch Hack, I can work with you on what you need for it. also witb the Rgh (Reset Glitch hacked) you can retrieve the dvd key and the cpu key with out the use of the dvd drive .

Ok i made some prgress today, thought ill update the topic...

So i got my Sata Via 6421 PCI card today that i ordered off eBay :tup: 8$ lol,
Tried it on my vista pc, didnt work... Then my old XP pc laying under meh bed, and well there we go :tup:...

Only thing is, since the drive is fried it didn't get any recognizing from the pc side when i plucked that PCB in, bu when i plugged in a new PCB board for the same drive, it did pick it up... So ill have to go with my last resort..

Reset Glitch Hack. So ill be ordering everything needed and wait
