Ok here is what I want to do; connect to several JTAG Xboxes to my PC through my router. Normally I direct connect to a single JTAG with the extra ethernet port I added with my Linksys network card.
I've been reading around everywhere on the net and I don't see anyone who actually tried this. Also I read that its not possible... you're only able to connect to a JTAG directly... I say bull, so if you know a good bit of networking help me out.
I have these installed to my JTAGs
Xexmenu 1.1
FreestyleDash 2.2
Dash Launch 2.26
tl;dr-
Google isn't helping because im tired of sifting through tidbits of information here and there... I just want to know right now...
- What ports do I have to forward to connect to my JTAGs from my PC?
- Will port forwarding effect system link connection between consoles?
- How do I FTP files from my computer to my xbox through a router?
-
How to set up FTP for jtag
How to Set up FTP to a JTAG (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5eQPY3tIpE#ws)

If you are trying to simply FTP to your jtag, you can add as many JTAGs as the number of spare ports you have on your router. I didn't even need port fowarding to do it. As long as your ftp client has the correct settings and IP adress for the right JTAG and you are in xex menu, it will work.

I got FTP to work on FSD but not XexMenu.... -_-
I must be missing something

in xexmenu (not sure if it is like this for FSD or not) the username is xbox and the password is xbox. Make sure the ip address in on your computer is the same one appearing in xexmenu if you have your network configuration on automatic.

I do a double check on my console's IP address. I log onto my router and check which devices are connected, it shown it's IP address. I also check the IP on xexmenu. (they are the same). Then i start freestyle dash and it works... even it has the same IP address.
