Hi guys,
I've tried looking at the tutorials, other posts, etc but can't seem to find too much info for what I want to do:
My brother is a partial quadriplegic and has limited use of his fingers. His ideal scenario is for the left and right bumpers to be up by the 4 X, Y, A, B buttons. That's it. No flashing lights, colors or anything else. Just moving those two bumper buttons up onto the right face.
How hard is this? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thank you!
Justin

To do this all you have to do is solder wires to the tact switches (l+R) and wiring the other ends to new tact switches mounted behind holes in the face where you want them.

this should take about 20 mins depending on how well you solder, you need some solder, soldering iron, 4 bits of wire and 2 Tact switches, first off just de-solder the two tact switches that are at the top of the controller
(https://acidmods.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1203.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fbb384%2FRyan_Mangan%2Fasdasd.jpg&hash=150ff62e0daae8ad77d8a6876418fa49c0238262)
And when you have done that then you need to solder some wire into the two hole at the very top of where each switch used to be, then when you have done that just attach the switches to the other end of each wire, cut a hole where your brother wants them (Protip: Get your brother to hold the controller and press where he thinks they will be most comfortable, and then put a pencil mark there) and then hot glue the switches into the holes and your done, any questions feel free to ask

PS you don't have to remove the tact switches on the controller, like Fren said, but it does make a nicer job. Might save a few minutes less w/o removing.

I wouldn't remove them. You keep them so that the original buttons still work in case someone else uses the controller. The plastic on those switches is also short, i'd advise ordering the ones with longer pieces that come with most rapidfire kits.
Edit: what matt said lol

Awesome! Thanks for the tips, guys. Hopefully all goes well and this is the start of the ultimate controller for him.
