Title: How To Polish Controller ?
Post by: tempermodz on April 27, 2012, 03:51:10 PM: Hey guys, I know that this doesnt really belong in this forums, since its not really mod topic. I was just wondering if any one know or done it before. How to polish, make a controller glossy, shiny etc... What would be the best material to use ? Thanks !

dont you mean west sand then clear coat? just wondering.. and do you mean a stock white shell or painted shell?

either way it doesn't matter. Get some high grit wet sandpaper (2000 grit), then a medium coat of a clear gloss. Sand it again and add the final coat of clear coat

Post by: Cookie Monster on April 27, 2012, 08:34:25 PM: another good trick is to wait for a sunny day or keeping the can warm before you spray. NOTE i said warm not hot. if you heat it up loads it could explode. as for what you currently have i'm not to sure, can i see a picture?

Post by: paintlax21 on April 29, 2012, 06:25:23 PM: Put 2 light coats of the clear with 10-15 minutes between coats. Then do a medium coat 10-15 minutes after your second light coat. Take 2000 grit WET SAND paper and sand it down, make sure to dip the sandpaper in water often. You can continue to do light coats and sanding if you need to level areas out or get a better shine.
