Title: Another new guy.

Just joined your community this morning. I'm an electronics student and hoping to learn to some things. Been doing alot of searching the internet for info on the 555 chip (I'm not that far into my program yet) for a DIY ps3 mod, and after this site came up 50 different times, figured I'd join. So far I'm stoked that I did. Thanks for having me. :tup:

Well, I've been interested in the tlc555 timer mod for ps3. I've made the circuit and now I'm just trying to figure out what TP's I need to solder it to. LMAO, I've fried one ps3 controller already so now it's time to do some homework.

The 555 is very versatile and is controlled by the components attached to it. read up on the data sheet and ask if you need any info on that. But it sounds like you have already gotten that far.

I am at work and dont have time, but if someone could search for Gblasters tut on the ps3 555 it may help you.
