Hey guys
MY friend recently bought an Xbox 360 Phat over Gumtree, and it has a Flashed Drive. He Wants to have it on stock FW and wants play hassle free online legitly.
So he asked me to flash it to stock FW for him.
I haven't much experience with drive flashing, only did a Benq Before.
So this is what i did. I connected the Drive to my On-board Sata ports on my Vista PC, i normally would've used the Via 6421 Card which i used on my previous PC, but it doesn't work with my Vista PC [Other PC is broken]. So with a bit of messing around in the BIOS i got JungleFlasher to detect the drive. It's a MS25 drive. I don't know the firmware that was flashed on it.
i have no idea how to go at this, i have a pre-firmware that you get with Ixtreme. but when i want to unlock the Drive,
it says:
Stage 1 complete
Stage 2 complete
Stage 3 complete
Going into Vender mode
Vender mode failed [Something like that :P]
Should I try half tray method, and then the activating iso method?
I really need help with this, as he wants it before the vacation, or vacation starts in a week lol
thanks in advance

in case you didnt get the link you first need to hit the intro/device id button under the mtk tab
then after that read the drive if it dosnt work it could be your computer
make sure jf is seeing the drive under I/O

thanks 3do, ill have a look in the morning, if it does work, I'm thinking of putting up a tut on it, seems that there's no tuts that just focuses on flashing stock, thanks again

Well explained 3DO.... Hope he helped out alot ....
also just flash it with the lt3.0 it will be still safe to play on xbl with no hassel... worst that will happen is . when it updates it will over write the flash again..

same process for loading ofw just instead of flashing ixtreme flash ofw
its bundled with ixtreme so when theres an update you reflash back to stock update then reflash back to lt3.0 etc
