Title: I need a Hex code, can someone help?
Post by: M9 Assailant on July 16, 2012, 07:19:53 PM
I have a Thor's Hammer controller from Viking360 (so it has the legacy modchip). The editor they have is a jumbled mess and I can seem to only set the speeds too high or too low. I was wondering if anyone had (or could get) a hex code compatible with the chip that gives the fastest speed possible for MW2 (without skips or VERY few skips) for an Xbox controller. It doesn't have tac. switches so if can do it through sync that's awesome :)

I know it's alot to ask, but if any coders who haven't made it are looking for a challenge you've got one. Or if you already have one and are willing to help out, great!

Do these codes worth with the legacy modchip from viking360? http://www.viking360.com/xbox-360-legacy-modchip.html (http://www.viking360.com/xbox-360-legacy-modchip.html)

If you wanted to re-program and do a little wiring, then you could use some hex files that I have made. That legacy mod is very similar to a mod that I have made. You'd be completely giving up all the greatness of having a Viking mod though.

The short answer is  NO. The legacy Viking360 modchip is a 18F14K50 with bootloader (may or may not be protected). None of the hexes here will work with that particular setup. It is particualr to the Viking legacy wiring and nothing anywhere matches it.
