Alright so... my psp go is messed up i bought it off some guy who can lmb. But its chill cuz trying to Fix it keeps me busy but i cant figure out the problem, it doesnt seeM like its the battery nor is it bricked because it opened a few times then died out after Like 10 seconds. doesnt do that nomore, thing is i open up the back and under the battery there's to silver boxes covering something so i apply pressure on that and the green light stays on as i apply pressure which is freakin' awesome because it gives me hope. but as soon as i remove fingers green light is gone and if i apply the right amount of pressure im sure it will turn on until i let go... but point is wheres the problem how can i fix it and if u wanna see a video of it let me know, help is greatly appreciated

There's either a short or needs a reflow. When you're pressing that silver thing, you are applying pressure to either a chip that has become disconnected with the motherboard, or pushing something conductive out of the way that is shorting. You can remove that shield.

remove the shield and check it out we cant help you until you show us something we dont know at this point if its an easy or hard fix
try and get some good video a clear pic of the area under that shield

figured thats what was under the shield
id get me some no clean flux very cheap locally or on fleabay not req but helpful
get a dropper drip some flux under that chip and give it a very simple reflow using a heat gun if you dont have a hot air machine

how can you see the problem? im not questioning your knowledge i just like to know why im doing something when doing it so i can properly applie it to other things
and my dad has a heat gun how long should i use it for and how far from the psp go

well if you were applying pressure to that area you were making contact to the connections underneath chips like that make
it hard to work with when you dont have the proper equipment like a hot air machine thats where a good old heat gun comes into play so you can heat it up enough so that the solder under the chip could make a connection again same concept when it comes to xbox rrod fixes etc
or
maybe maybe something in that general area isnt making connection due to a cold solder joint ps i wouldnt recommend you keep messing with it since it can cause a short resulting in blown cap resistors etc or whatever is on the board
if you wanna try it set it to low heat and give it a circular motion to that general area for about maybe 5 secs give or take just need to get it hot enough so it can melt the solder remember to remove the battery etc make sure not to bump it or move it while its hot because that might result in other things moving around
hell you can even use your gf or moms blow dryer used a blow dryer before on boards with high risk of fn things up and worked perfect

doesnt turn on at all no more did i blow something ? and theres no fix to that is there x.x
