If you are feeling shy about making your own and you want to buy one, I haven't found one yet that is better than the PICKit2.

...mainly because then you get to use MicroChip's PICKit2 software.

As far as programming your own, honestly most guys say they want to do it but get discouraged finding out how involved it is.

Do you know any programming languages?

Thanks for that I'll have to look into that kit. I don't know any computer languages, was going to try and find a free code that works but it seems all the free ones don't have what I'm looking for lol. I thought it was just plug the chip in and program it and away you go. Is it more on depth then that if you already have a hex file?

Thanks rodent for the guide I'll look at that two and see if it's in my skill range

Ok let me see about the hex code bit first make sure I can use it lol. Is there a certain chip this has to be used with or any 8 pinned one? I want to make sure I can figure out what I'm doing before I put any money into it of it ends up just sitting there. As well is there a specific software that HAS to be used or...

If it is something simple like a 4 or 5 mode mod I don't mind providing you with a hex file. Just tell me what modes you want.

I honestly don't know what's simple and what's complex. But I was wanting to get one that had as many modes I couldbut 5 could work lol. I was wanting a mod that had like auto aim and quick scope and stuff like that with the rapid fire. The only ones I saw were faster shooting. Like I said im a noob and don't know what's hard and isn't. I wanna try making one for me and a few buddies I enjoy modding my stuff more then paying for it.

dit: i was also wanting to make it stealth does that change the code?

The one my buddy has which I was tying to match:

Quick scope
Auto aim zombies
Akimbo
Jitter
Active reload
User programmable
Rapid fire for some games
Rapid fire for other games
Fast reload
Rapid fire dual weapons
