Team Cobra is entering the PS3 Optical Drive Emulator market. We all heard of the upcoming '3k3y' device, but now the market for installing an ODE in the PS3 scene world is heating up as the world's famous Team Cobra behind the Cobra-USB dongle is now going to be producing an Cobra-ODE for playing all your backup PS3 Blu-Ray Game Disc Images directly from any HDD without the need to have your PS3 console on 'custom firmware', which they claim will be 'most advanced PS3 Optical Drive Emulator' ever.

this thing is a joke why?..... you still have to be on 3.55 to grab your br drive key......if your on 3.55 why do you need this crap if you can just install cfw and install backup managers
only good reason i think would be to get on psn but im sure there gonna detect pirated games

No idea man, until they give more info, everything is just speculations. But it says no custom firmware needed, which im hoping is true. it'll bring my ps3 to life which is collecting dust right now. Thinking about selling it too. but i dont know yet myself.

well on the xb they sell ode also but you still had to find a way to dump your dvd key so im assuming its gonna be the same with this one
i think when they say no cfw needed im sure your gonna have to downgrade back to 3.55 grab your key then go back to the latest ofw
which to me doesnt make sense

all this talk about PS3 stuff , why no tutorials made on them for our members use?

no funds yet to buy some stuff i need but i will soon as i get some funds

Rody I wrote a tute for the new cfw and psn. I dont think anyone has read it.

1TONPete you do a great job i read everything,  just like to see more member contribute to it, i am glad to see that other members stepping in now with it and thanks man for your help to keep Acidmods moving along.
