Okay so im wanting to do Red in the B, Yellow in the Y Blue in X and green in A, and 4 Blues in the Guide button. Im going to wire the Red and Yellow LED in parallel with a 82 ohm resistor. and the 5 blues and one green in parallel with a 15 ohm resistor. The red and yellow have forward voltages of 2.0 and the blues have a voltage of 3.0 and the green has a forward voltage of 3.2. I used LEDcalc for the calculations, and put the supply voltage as 5v for the PnC kit. id rather not have it plugged in all the time but it said 3v is to low of a supply voltage. i know ill get more out of 2 AAs rather than the PnC batter pack, but like i said, it said the voltage was too low.
If there is any changes i should make please let me know.

use all white LEDs, the buttons' plastic is already colored. Then you won't need resistors also which makes it easier.

i replace my vibration motors with a separate battery and a switch for my other leds.

and this as a charger http://dx.com/p/mini-usb-1a-lithium-battery-charging-board-charger-144856 (http://dx.com/p/mini-usb-1a-lithium-battery-charging-board-charger-144856)
that way you controller lasts the same time but you also get bright ass lights

Woah, getting creative with more batteries lol. Clever, but now you'd have to worry about the controller's stock batteries being replaced/charged, plus charging the LEDs' batteries. I'm making a controller with those same parts pretty much, but I just made the whole controller + lights run off of the rechargeable battery.

i used this method and hated it. makes the buttons look washed out. using respectively colored LEDs for each button would be a much nicer mod.
