I cannot do it all myself. I need some new staff. I need new local mods for most sections. at least one more global and one admin.
Duties include welcoming new members, moving post to correct sections, fixing bad links or embedded pictures, helping solve problems.
Locals should have knowledge of the area they are moderating as it is their main goal to help the member with his issue.
Globals need to have knowledge of the forum software and decent BBC knowledge.
Rewards:
respect from other staff and members.
access to staff only boards.
the feeling of belonging to a great community.

I have no job, and i'm not attending school... I have tons of free time. I find myself visiting the site more everyday, and i'd be glad to help.

I am still here , and will do what i can to help out. just like matt said he cant do it all on his own and pretty much whitetop and i are the only ones who do help . we need members to step up and start helping more . hopefully new staff will work out great.
3D0 would be great for PS3 section. he has been on here more and more and bringing more stuff to the PS3 section.

If there is anyway I could help let me know. I have been on the site for more then a while now so I have did my share of browsing the forms. I love this community and will always be here for it. Rodent is also right 3D0 is a very good member and has a lot of know how about PS3s he is perfect for that section. Let me know.

I need locals with good knowledge of their sections. this weekend I am going to work on the local permission sets to give you more power. but I think locals properly overseeing their areas is the best start. locals report to globals, globals to admin, and admin report to me and Robin.
snow is in the 360 section.
sounds like edo is being nominated for ps3, confirm?
maybe Neo for the psp section?? confirm?
remember locals are free to organize their areas as they want, just have to work with an admin to do so. remember, we only delete when its a must. archived child boards are one thing, but when you delete it goes to the trash area and out of the search engines.
All staff positions are voluntary, so you can stop whenever you want, but I ask that if you plan to quit you train or nominate someone to take over. mods should check their areas at least every other day.

as long as one wants to work and take on the job i dont see any problem on having them on staff just as long as they don't want to get to mod then don't work like most of the old ones did.
good to see some people are stepping up this time. glad to have any of you on the team and best of luck.

Got a beast new pc, so hopefully I will be more active now. For the sake of site security I say you strip the privileges of the barely active staff (including myself), I think I remember we had a problem with one of the old admins accounts being compromised a few years back.
Rather have a small reliable active group of staff, than a large spread out team a lot of whom have honorary positions.

I am sorry. I like everyone else have experienced life changes over the past year and just dont have the time to commit to the site as I would like. I will try to get it done this evening if I dont have to work late.

See If snowcolt can help out as a global moderator also.. and still do the xbox 360 section with myself. as it is now. with new members we need to keep the site under control and make sure it doesnt get out of hand.... just a thought . I will help as much as i can... like always.

i should be hopefully back on more often in a week or so - picked up my imac on saturday so once i have all the data restored etc ill be back on a bit more

i said this in a pm to matt and ill make it public personally i think the art fourm should be just one single group such like the general fourm cause as much as i hate to say it i dont see the art team making as big as a presence as it seemed to once be now on the news team front if he needs someone to head that i finish school in three days and more then willing to head that i have alot of free time on my hands for the most part and would like to start posting more news as well as have a couple ideas that could go well for that section

Also I would like to nominate neo for the PSP section of the site as I can no longer find the time nor the will power to do anything after work.
I hope to one day have a different job that isint so mentally draining so I can help out again.

Hey Matt.
I leave for the Marine Corps sometime in the next 6 months or so, but I will gladly accept my global mod position back or any position for that fact (which i was supposed to get years ago, but didn't worry about since I was so busy.)
I mean, I'm not super active anymore, but I will gladly spend more time on here if needed to help out.

Its good to see you FreeK. Despite all our combined efforts, we have just been unable to restore the site back to its booming state when Cyber was here. I hop with the arrival of the new consoles we will see some new life here. My cousin did two tours with the MC and he will never be the same. Take care of your body as well as your metal state while your out there.

Yeah, I've been hoping and thinking the same thing with the announcements of the new consoles.
I won't be going infantry, so whatever I do will be behind the lines, if even over seas (however, you can't be promised that you won't end up there if they need you) but yeah, I'm going to do whatever I can to stay sane and healthy, and hopefully it all works out for me. Thanks for the words of advice and sorry to hear about your cousin, I'm sure whatever he did was great and helpful to protecting his homeland however.
