Title: PS3 MSU_vx5_0.05 which code and can wire diags

Hi Guys ,

I have the componnets to do this build I have pulled the controller apart and it happens to be MSU_VX5_0.05  :fear:

The only code I can see is hypers999 code that may work i see the v4 pic look similar to the 5 posted below

any guidance or info would be appreciated i was originally going to use 3 mode PS3 but it looks like it don't have v4 or v5 diagrams for install.

never mind answered my own question I think.

Not sure if it will work on a vx5 but i will give it a shot with hyper999.

also what is the difference between hyper999 PS3BMUV1 and the PS3BMU x codes

There is very little info on ps3 rapid fire. Its not as easy as the xbox. Hyper made a opensource code for earlier controllers. YOU are welcome to try to port the code over to newer controllers and post your findings.

Nobody has done it, therefore they cannot tell you how, which is why you dont have any responses. Acidmods is not here to do the work for you, we are here to help guide you, your going to have to do all the leg work yourself and post your findings along the way so we may help push you in the right direction.

If you want something I know works, buy the DIY viking ragnarok chip.

This install is the same as others. The tp points are just a lol different.

Com2= tp 18
R1or r2 are in the pic you posted.
B+ tp 14 constant power. Higher v
Switched 2.8 v = tp 13
Ground unsure. Should not be hard to find.
L1L2 RF...
Com 1 = tp 17
L1L2 pictured.

Fallow the intructions in the threads and you should be fine.
I have used the 3 mode on this controller.
The viking is the best though.
Hypers code might not work.

thanks I know its my bad I finally have 4 weeks off work and wanted to do some gaming which i haven't for while.
