Console Modding------ ( Here you can talk about your favorite Consoles ) => XBOX 360 => Topic started by: gl0zz3n on January 07, 2014, 12:03:49 PM

..So i tried to RGH my console a while back and forgot to change setting on my cr3 before connecting it to laptop and pretty sure i ended up frying it as when i would try to boot, screen would only stay black and i didn't get a splash screen or anything, then worked fine when reverting back to stock.
Well, i was just playing it stock for a few months and one day it said I had an E80 (wrong dash version i believe) and google is just running me in circles trying to find a solution.
The only reason I care is because this happened to my r2d2 and was my favorite of my 3 consoles. I have a halo3, a white console, and my r2d2 after giving my second white console to my father and my second halo3 to my sister.
I not only like the console, but it has sentimental value to me to having it back running would be awesome.
- if this has been posted somewhere on the forums already, im sorry, i searched and came up dry. Thanks again for all the help, it really means alot.

did you try to do an update??
-
It may have done one on its own. I didn't complete the rgh, so i assumed it would just run as it did before i started tinkering with it.
-
have you tried holding the the sync button then powering up the console? hold the sync button and dont let go. If its the update, then this will clear the failed update and load the working dashboard.
-
the sync button on the actual console, correct? I'll give this a shot right now. I'm pretty sure i did this, but I'll give it another go, just for the sake of troubleshooting
-
yea, just do it!!!! lol
-
yeah, it just boots straight to the e80 code. i unplugged the console, held the sync button while plugging it back in, held it while it touched the power button, and it booted straight to the error screen.
-
yeah post pictures of the motherboard whenever you can.
-
i posted them in a spoiler, below the first post
-
did you remove everything? download the official update to a flash drive and update the console.
-
did anyone actually see his pics?
im not trying to make fun of the OP but he needs to clean up his solder work
that bottom QSB for the cpu RST looks suspect
plus i never personally used that CPU rst qsb but im sure you are not suppose to solder to that point (yellow wire in pic) but on the qsb or am i wrong?
dont think its a update issue unless the LDV were modified
-
Needs To Clean Up The Soldering, And That Yelow Wire Is For Post Out, Which Is Connected To The Right Spot.
-
Yeah, i followed the diagrams to the T, and yes, im aware my soldering is poo, lol. I haven't removed anything because i haven't went and bought another iron yet.
-
1st USE FLUX!!!!!
2nd thing is in your pics with the CR3 there is no settings
3rd doesnt look like you need to bridged the resistors on the motherboard looks like there done
4th what is the Orange Wire ? (K) go to you shouldnt even need that wire with a cr3
as for the E80 error if you tried to update the console by usb and then tried to use your orignal nands you dumped before the update then that is the issue you need to redump the nand if you updated it.
cause the LDV would of changed. if you tried to RGH it again with the old nand .
show here wrong LDV

well.. i guess its garbage now as i already pulled everything off the mobo. back into my parts bin it shall go. thread can be closed. Thanks for the help.
- this was my second attempt at a rgh, i had the cr3 ultimate pro, plugged in the wrong thing, fried my board, trashed it. pulled out the lite, fried it aswell.

does it power on ? if you take all the stuff off it? and flash back the orignal nand?
-
it powers on to a single red light in the middle of the rol and boots to an e80. i took eveything off the mobo, and i don't know how to flash anything.

If You Dont Know How To Flash Anything, How Did You Flashed The Hacked Nand? Or Did You Just Installed The Chip And Expect It To Rgh On Its Own?

I am so sorry but Damn that is some FUNNY poop  best one i ever heard :)

LMAO! What i mean, is i had no freggin clue what i was doing, i was just listening to a friend through skype webcam who was walking me through the glitch and was telling me what to do, then i had him teamview to use jrunner to do whatever it was he was doing.
I may not know what im doing exactly, but i can follow instructions and i have common sense. I had forgot to put the cr3 back into program before connecting to laptop and powering up the console.. wouldn't work after that, lol.
Everything looks good on the board, my only concern are a couple of these pads:

-
you lifted that pad clean off
hard to tell about the other pads as the picture angle isnt good or lack of focus
-
that may be fixable!
-
Yeah, i didn't know if you could work with that or not, here's some better ones from different angles
