Title: New mod ideas, need expert feedback.

So I'm currently looking into new projects and one thing I really want to do is re-due the Xbox 360 / Xbox one controller anologes. I asking any advice if anyone has or knows of its possible to replace the joysticks with a PS vita slider or any other six axis slider?

I would imagine it could easily be done by soldering the connections of the slider to the controller joystick pinouts.

Any thoughts or input would be appreciated thanks.

Well yes this is possible but the PSVita analogs dont have a L3 or R3 button, so you would be losing that functionality.

And they are a little lit smaller... so if you can deal with the reduced size it should be all good from what i can imagine.

I haven't seen anyone build a heart rate monitor in a controller before.
