Title: controller led connection
Post by: getweird on December 15, 2014, 10:36:20 PM: So I was removing an led with my solder iron and accidentally burned off a contact point. Is there any way to repair that, or possibly still get a connection? Any help at all on the subject will be appreciated! Thanks guys!

Post by: Demonboy on December 15, 2014, 11:13:46 PM: any way you can get a good picture of what you did? they really help, but generally you can follow the trace back a little bit and scratch off the green coating to the copper and with some flux and wire u can extend the trace where you need it

Post by: Demonboy on December 16, 2014, 09:32:40 PM: you worked that board over pretty good lol... yea u see the little traces that lead to where the pads should be, scratch the green off and expose the copper, use some flux and solder some wire on there and use tht to connect ur leds
