Title: Guide Button snapping/unsnapping (on screen)?
Post by: GrooveZoidberg on March 17, 2015, 09:23:09 PM
I have a problem with some of my controllers and am wondering if yall have a clue?

When im testing a controller(after i've put it back together), sometimes it does a weird guide button thing.  Where it flashes the Snap/unsnap panel (like it would if you're pressing guide fast, a few times).

And this happens a few times a week, to different controllers.

I've recently started keeping the two pieces of board together instead of now worrying about the pairing.  Enough time hasn't passed to tell if that was the problem.

I guess my question is, has anyone else had this problem?

It happens to non-modded controllers too.

Also,  is this the place i post questions like this? I suck at forums, i promise to get better.

Nada boss.

I'm still interested in finding out the problem though.

Any insight would be super helpful :)

It happens sometimes to me. but it was only on older rechargeable battery packs. I fixed mine with either brand new packs or just using AA batteries.

no clue. If I had to make a guess, the guide button is getting PWM feedback from the LED. but  you state it happens on unmodded controllers so IDK. Never had this issue myself.
